I hope you are all doing well. I want to remind everyone that there will be no Bookclub in December. We will be meeting again on Jan. 7th / 2014 (Wednesday) to discuss Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo. I have attached a video of Katherine discussing her experiences living in Mumbai. Interesting.
I hope you enjoy the book. Have a great Christmas season. Cuddle up with a warm blanket, your favourite hot beverage and a great book.
I will look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Hello. Hope you are having a wonderful summer! The library takes a short hiatus from Book Clubs during the Summer, but we are excited to reconvene again in the fall. In the meantime, check out our Adult Summer Reading Club. You could win a Kobo Aura HD eReader!
Just a reminder that our next book club is fast approaching! We will be discussing Night Circus on April 16th at 7:00. If you have not yet read this, I do have an audio copy as well as some books left. Come by and pick one up!
I am looking forward to hearing what your experience of this book was like.
Erin got her start in Nanowrimo – a project where authors write a designated number words per month. This was when she began working on Night Circus. Here is a link describing Nanowrimo: http://nanowrimo.org/about.
I have also attached a short video with Erin describing the writing process involved in writing Night Circus.
See you soon,
I did phone all of you but I want to make sure that you all receive the message. I had to re-schedule April’s book club. Instead of it being on April 2nd, it will be April 16th (Wed). I hope this still works for everyone. At this meeting we will be discussing Erin Morgenstern’s Night Circus.
Also a reminder: book club is coming up on on Mar.5. This evening Headlong, by Michael Frayn will be discussed. If you have not read this yet, feel free to come by and pick up a copy. I still have a few more left.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
